About "Max. running profile threads per process"

Postby Ivangelion on Mon Jan 03, 2011 10:18 pm

Is there a standard for setting this option in the Advanced tab sheet of Program Settings, based on CPU speed or memory capacity?

Thanks in advance.

No. Usually there isn't any need to change this option ever. The wording is not precise, by the way. It should simply say "Max. running profiles per process".

Normally, all simultaneously running profiles can run in the same process, so this option can be as high as or higher than the number if jobs you will ever run at the same time.

Okay, so is there a way/need to adjust the simultaneous processing threads, like that of FlashGet when downloading files?

Thank you! :)

You can specify the number of files to copy in parallel on the Files tab sheet in the profiles.
