backup to tape drive?

Hi i have been using SFFS for a little while now on trial and think it works really weel for synch between pcs/laptops/ready nas NV+.

i have an lto tape drive which i want to use for daily backups which i will take off site for high levels of redundancy.

Can i use the SFFS software to back up to the tape drive? It doenst appear in the options when i try to setup a new job.

For confrimation i do have another bit of software on trial whjcih does see the tape drive so confident its not a hardware issues.

No, tape drives are not supported. You need very special backup software for tape drives, not synchronization programs.

thanks, that is a shame, thought i had found the perfect solution for me, looks like i have to have two bits of software running.
