Changed location re-starts process

Postby syberjj on Fri Jul 15, 2011 12:06 am

Hello,

I just moved some files from one location to another on the transfer destination computer (where super flexible is running) and now the transfer process is starting from 0% again.
Why isn't it noticing that the files are the same?

I keep getting the feeling that I should be running the Super Flexible remote service to avoid this kind of error.
Will the remote service solve this kind of issue? Also, will it create the file list locally and then send the "database report" to my remote host? This would be awesome because I have over 20k files to transfer and it takes a long time to create the file list using SFTP.

Answering my own questions :)
Using the remote service:
-file listing, which used to take about 30mins, now takes about 30 secs
-the 70GB that were about to be all copied again got reduced to 13GB (which is a correct value since files have changed)
