Cluster Aware docs

Postby xpnti on Tue Oct 15, 2013 5:08 am

Hi there,

We are evaluating Syncovery to replicate files (plenty of small files (< 200KB)) between our production site and our disaster recovery one
The DR server it's a plain Windows 2008 R2 with local folders and so on, but the production it's a FailoverCluster one.
We want to be able to install Syncovery on the FailoverCluster and follow the disk of the files, so if any node it's up and has the file server role, we will be running Syncovery from it.
Also as there are millions of files we are pretty interested that the solution it's compatible with RealTime sync.

I searched for any documentation about it but till now I didn't find anything, anyone has experience setting up something like this will be appreciated but if not I will come back with our findings.

Cheers,

Sergi

Hello,

unfortunately the situation is pretty rare so I don't know if we will find a customer that's doing it already. Most customers don't tell me how they are using the software. You will find documentation on real-time syncing on this page:
http://www.syncovery.com/real-time-sync/

And here's some information on how you may be able to speed up full syncs, if necessary:
