Database 'migration' to benefit from 7.85

Postby AnthonyB on Tue Jun 13, 2017 11:25 pm

Aside from deleting and re-creating, is there any way of 'migrating' existing databases to the new smaller 'format' after updating to v7.85?

Or is only way to delete the databases and re-build from scratch that first time the job runs under 7.85?

The smaller format will be used for migrated older databases too. However not all folders in the database will immediately be updated, and the SQL server probably won't compact the database file itself. So usually you will want to delete it if you want to save space.
