Encrypt filenames as well as contents

Postby rossmcm on Mon Nov 14, 2011 11:20 pm

This is yet another feature suggestion...

Being able to encrypt the files is great, but sometimes just the filenames give out useful information as well. We could just give our files unhelpful names, but then it makes it hard for us. Why not provide an option to have SFFS give the filename inside the zip an encrypted name (using the key the user supplies to encrypt the contents)?

Thanks,
Ross

Yes this will be implemented at some point.

Hi, is there any update on this feature. Currently the only way we can do something like this is by using a zip package instead of zipping individually.

Thanks
