File & Folder Deletion simple profile setting

Postby jackyman on Mon Jun 28, 2010 10:36 pm

This program feature on file sync(creation) is excellent.
But when i trying to do exact mirror ( Real Time Sync), just say Drive A folder -> Drive B folder, i would like to know how setting can eliminate file & folder deletion issue?

Moreover, how to change a job default run in (Attended Mode / Unattended Mode / Background) seems to be program only default run in attended mode.

Can you email me the undocumented setting in INI file for no restriction deletion to fulfill the Exact Mirror option.

Also, can you email me a sample profile setup INI for reference? Because my objective just want to Exact Mirror from Drive A folder to Drive B folder.(included all subdir, real-time sync create, modify, delete) Thats it.
Thanks your help !!

Hello,

in real time, the deletions are not limited. You just need to enable them on the Real-Time Settings dialog and possibly reduce the safety delay.

Complete folder deletion can be a problem because Windows does not send deletion notifications for all items in the folder. This problem has been improved in version 5.

Hello,

to follow up, the following switch can to be added to the [Main] section of the INI file to enable 100% deletions in unattended mode:
UnattendedDeleteAllIsOK_IfDelPercIs100=YES

The location of the INI file is shown on the status bar in the
profile overview.
