freefilesync set to start in startup applications but doesn'

Postby badams_ios on Fri Apr 17, 2015 5:17 pm

I have the following in my startup applications. The line runs fine from a terminal, but doesn't seem to run from the startup apps.

I want real time monitoring.

"/usr/bin/FreeFileSync" "/home/cave-man/Syncovery/SyncSettings.ffs_batch"

I think this is the wrong forum. You should ask in your Linux distribution's forum how to manage startup items.

I've been using linux since 1997. I know how to setup a startup app. I think I'm using the wrong syntax for this app. I could use some help with the syntax.

This is not the forum for /usr/bin/FreeFileSync.

This is the forum for Super Flexible File Synchronizer, which you can find here with more information:
https://www.syncovery.com/download/linux/

There will also be a new command line version of the latest Syncovery 7 this year (new name for Super Flexible File Synchronizer).

Unfortunately I don't know the command line parameters for the old Linux version any more. I think there was something like /STARTTIMER or /AUTOSTART or /TIMERASAPP
