Google Docs Duplicate Folders & Database Errors

Postby laemmle on Tue Aug 30, 2011 11:05 pm

I am running multiple profiles that are syncing folders to different Google User Accounts. For instance, user 1's profile syncs a folder called user 1 to his Google Account, user 2's profile syncs a folder called user 2 with his Google Account.

Each profile is setup identically as follows:

Copy left to right - checked | copy right to left - checked | include all subfolders.
Smartracking with a scheduled profile (not real time as that is not supported for Internet Syncs) every 15 minutes, with deletions ON.

Out of 6 Google Users, superflexible is reuploading entire folders more than once for all of them, duplicating them on Google Docs. I have, today, deleted the duplicate folders and resynched everything, but wanted to know if I should do anything else. Perhaps I'm missing an important setting somewhere that is causing the duplication.

#2 Problem: These users who have these duplication are all getting the SuperFlexible error of

"Cannot open database.: Database might be in use by another profile
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. - Error Cannot open database.: Database might be in use by another profile
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. @ 00E8C59B Checkpoints: FindDBS/
"

To fix this, I ran an "attended" job and clicked "Yes" to the question "Create a new database" - but it didn't fix the error and I'm still getting it.

Again, as mentioned above, just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing and if there is any setting that I'm missing or procedure that I'm overlooking for both these issues.

Yes you can just delete the duplicate folders. Unfortunately sometimes Google Docs provides incomplete folder and file listing so that the program thinks items have to be uploaded. I hope it doesn't occur too often.

To avoid the database error, you can also choose the following setting on the Advanced dialog of the Program Settings dialog:
X Never allow two profiles to share the same database

If that does not help, please install the latest version 5.51 and reboot the machine.
