Monitoring Tool

I find the monitoring tool very usefull to check the status of the backup over the 28 computers I installed superflex, but I was'nt successfull in making changes to the remote profiles eventhough i get a confirmation that the profile changes were sent to the remote computer. i even turned off the firewall for testing but still changes are not sent over. the only thing i was able to do is turn on or off the scheduler remotely. Does this tool work at all ? ( I'm using version 5.02)

Yes it works. You need to allow remote editing on each of the 28 machines by going into their Program Settings dialog to the Misc tab sheet.

I forgot to mention that I did allow remote editing, that's how I'm able to get the status of the profile and open the profile. changes still don't go over. i made a little experiment and i placed a password where it said it was optional. i used the same admin password that i used in the monitoring tool, and guess what? the changes to the profile went through. It looks like the password is mandatory. i suggest you reexamin the "optional" comment next to the box. Thanks
