Multiple folders assigned to a single profile

Postby Kob on Fri Oct 14, 2011 7:31 pm

Hello,

I wonder if it is possible to assign multiple source folders (spanning several logical disk drives, so impossible to define only one parent folder) to a single profile, or must I define one profile for each separate folder?

A separate profile for each logical disk is needed.

Thanks for the quick reply.

May I suggest to consider this as a feature for a future release.
Right now, with 20-30 local folders at various locations without a common root, spanning across 4 logical drives, I would need to build 20-30 profiles and manage them accordingly. The only other current alternative that I know of, namely to select a logical drive letter as a root, so I would have 4 profiles, falls short since the filtering and individual folder management under each logical drive would be rather complex.

The proposed feature would bundle all selected folders to one profile that can be activated at will. Another profile might bundle another set of folders to backup, with different targets and scheduling, and so on. This will be very easy to manage.
