New Feature in Version 7.55: Service Scheduler

The scheduler can now be installed a system service (daemon), which starts automatically even if you are not logged on to a Mac desktop session, and it can automatically run as root without the user having to enter a password every time the service starts.

To use the service, go to the Scheduler tab sheet and change the setting from “Use: Background Scheduler” to “Use: Service Scheduler”.
