Sometimes there are errors reported after sync. How can I re-run only the files that had errors?
This time I have the error "ERROR Differing files (not identical): 3"
But then the log file starts with:
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
ERROR: Binary Comparison failed for ___.xls
CONFLICT: ___.png (One side is a folder, the other one is a file.)
CONFLICT: ___.png (One side is a folder, the other one is a file.)
The log file is truncated "** too many files, rest is being skipped **" so I don't even know which three files did not compare correctly.
I am syncing 45GB to my backup USB drive with "binary compare" before cleaning up files on my main drive. I can't start deleting files until I know that I have them backed up. To repeat the entire process again takes a long time. I would like to only find and re-run the few problem files and not compare all 45GB again.
Thanks,
~Brian
