Synchronizing same file twice

Postby gakhalsa on Tue Feb 16, 2010 2:25 pm

This is my environment....

Left Side: local folder
Right Side: FTP Server (Titan)
SmartTracking: Yes
File Mangling: No

This is the problem....

1. I add a file to left side.
2. File replicates to right side.
3. I delete the file on the left side.
4. File deletes on the right side.
5. I add the same file on the left side again.
6. My hope at this point is that the file would replicate to the right side again. However, what happens is that SFFS deletes it from the left side. It seems that you cannot synchronize the same file twice.

Have you tried this with the latest version 4.88?

I was running pre-5.00 build 10 and updated to pre-5.00 build 15. That seems to have fixed the problem. Do you suggest I continue to use this or drop back to version 4.89?
