can't access right path

Postby marcode on Sun Feb 21, 2010 6:07 am

I set up a profile which runs as root user. I'm getting a "can't access right path" result.

The right path is a NAS box. The account that I access to the NAS box with has enough access to perform the back-up, so is the problem because I'm using the root user account locally? If so, what permissions should I grant to the right folder for the copy to be successful?

Using Mac version 4.89

Thanks.

Hi,

it's probably happening because the volume is not mounted or the mount point has changed since the profile was created. The best thing would be to edit the profile and on the Job tab sheet, choose "Mount Network Volumes" and specify the network path as well as user credentials.

Hi,

I tried to use this method to conect automaticaly to my NAS drives, but I have a "insufficent license" error when I launch the job.
FYI I use 5.21 version with a license purchased.

Do I need to pay to use the auto connection in the "job" tab ???

Thanks
Rgds

It could be a feature that is only in the Professional Edition. I will contact you by email about upgrading the license.
