Log file issue

Postby Ivangelion on Thu Jan 06, 2011 10:52 pm

When I firstly turned on all the log options in the "Additional Logging" area in the Logs tab of the Program Settings dialogue box, I got many detailed messages in the log files, and log files would grow up to hundreds of MBs.

However, when I turned off all the settings in that area and clicked "Close" of the dialogue box, those verbose loggings still came out and log files became so big! Sometimes it will generate log files which names ended with ".log.syncfdb-dump.txt". I'm sure I've turned off all options in the area "Additional Logging".

Do I need to exit and restart the program to make things go right?

Thank you in advance.

It could be that you need to stop and restart the scheduler. Ideally make sure that no ExtremeSyncService processes are running before restarting it.
