Feature request: prevent concurrent run of certain profiles

Postby syncing_feeling on Tue Feb 01, 2011 9:52 pm

Greetings,

I have several profiles that all back up to the same offsite location (though each profile is to a different folder at the remote destination). The majority of these profiles are chained together so that they normally don't overlap. There are some that I only run manually and others that run less frequently on a schedule.

It would be helpful to me if there were some way to mark all of these profiles as being a part of the same group, and then I could have a setting that would allow only one profile from that grouping (eg, the offsite group of profiles) to ever run at a time. But other profiles which are not a part of that group (eg, profiles that are running only on my LAN and not over WAN) would still be allowed to run based on the "Max. simultaneous jobs" setting.

I hope all of this makes sense.

I don't know whether this is a feature that others would use or not, but it would be handy for me.

Thanks for your consideration!
:D
