Login from Firefox not possible; login not saved

I have a problem with login from firefox (3.6):
Direct login into the SFFS forum is not possible; when entering username and password in the login mask in http://www.backupcreations.com/forum/, nothing happens.

So I have to login via https://www.backupcreations.com/signup/register/ and press the login link on the top.
The login mask seems to be the same as in the forum, however here it works.
But here the problem is that my login is not remembered: I always have to login again which is quite annoying.

All this works fine under Internet Explorer.

What can I do?

I can confirm that the second problem is gone - now my login is remembered when logging in via Firefox and the https://www.backupcreations.com/signup/register/ or https://www.backupcreations.com/
page.

Still nothing happens however when trying to login via
https://www.backupcreations.com/forum/ with Firefox 3.6.
With IE 8, it is no problem.

The developers can not reproduce the problem. They asked if you have cookies turned on?

Yes, cookies are turned on.
To start clean again, I deleted all cookies from backupcreations and tried to login again, but still the same.
But since the first problem is fixed now, this is no big problem any more - I just stay logged in so I don't have to login again...
