Multiple User Accounts Per Machine

Postby vince77 on Mon Mar 28, 2011 4:41 pm

Hi -

I'm trying to setup PST backups for a machine where 2 users are logged in simultaneously. I am having them both share the same INI file and both users are standard (not admin) users on the machines. Also, I checked the box for "program settings | advanced | never allow two profiles to share the same database"

I login as both users separately and setup a profile to backup each pst file (while in use by outlook). When i try to run the profile from my main "central SFFS" using the monitoring tool, I get the following error saying that the database is in use. Please help...

I'm attaching one of the log files

Hello,

this was an incompatibility of the option "Run As User" and the SQL database server. It has been fixed in today's update version 5.40d.

Cheers,
Tobias

Will this still work if I set the scheduler to run as a service and the service runs as an admin?

Attached is the latest log file...

I omitted a bunch of the following that repeated a lot of times...
Path could not be created: C:\Users\vbm\AppData

It could be that user jdk does not have permissions to write to the TEMP folder for the account that the service runs under. So you need to specify a different TEMP folder on the Program Settings dialog. One that all users can write to.

Thanks also! The new version 5.41 should now be able to switch the TEMP folder if necessary.
