Profiles won't delete file

Postby morphus on Fri Feb 19, 2010 4:44 pm

Hello,

I’ve setup a profile to sync using Smart Tracking, one side is Windows other is FTP.
The sync by itself is working fine, the problem is the deletion.

The profile is run unattended using NT Services

Everytime it run I get "Deletions disable see safety settings."

Under Safety/Unattended mode I have Check File Deletion Allowed, with 100%
Enable Special Safety is unchecked

YES have been type under Smart Tracking/Configure

Any idea why?

Thank

Hello,

maybe you're trying to delete the last file? If there is nothing left, the program doesn't do the deletion because it might just be a problem getting the file list. So you need to make sure at least one file remains, for example you could create a dummy donotdeleteme.txt.

I ran into this same problem previously. Even though it seems like the Unatttend Tab should be enough if you are running unattennded, I have found you also need to deselect or select the options you want in Attend Mode and Special Safety Tabs.
