Character ^M embeded at the end of each line

Hi I am trying to FTP from windows server to unix a text file, but after tranfer there is character ^M is embeded at the end of each line. Pease suggest, what to do?

Hello,

you may have more success with ASCII transfer mode which you can choose on the second tab sheet of the FTP dialog. But use this only for text files!
