Wrong status synchronization progress

Postby Hotzenwalder on Mon Feb 22, 2010 4:26 pm

When synchronizing files from a remote server to a local disk using partial copying the progress windows says it is creating a temp copy for a specific file (a large PST file in this case), but the from/to lines below don't list the correct from/to source of the file where a temp copy is created from. The from/to info has already advanced further in the list than the actual file syncing progress. This can be kind of confusing.

Is this by design or a bug?

(using version 4.89 on Windows Server 2003 SP2, remote service running on the source server)

Also... is there any realtime logging going on and if so where are those logfiles?

Hi,
when creating a temp file, the from/to below don't have anything to do with the temp file. Those will be updated independently. I will check if this can be improved.

All log files are in the log folder. You can see the details on the Program Settings dialog.

Thanks for the info.

So far the first run seems promising. We will do some more testing the following days.
