I've just converted to Windows 7 (the old XP machines are being retired). Currently I have 6 profiles to sync data from 6 folders to a NAS. Documents, Pictures, Music, Videos, and two others. Some of the folders are quite large, others contain just a few files. Would it be advisable to create a Windows 7 library for these 6 folders and then have just one profile running against the library instead? It would certainly be easier to maintain one profile than six. However, my question is really about CPU efficiency and which way would create less overhead in the background tasks.
This is a bi-directional, real time sync if that makes any difference.
Thanks.
