Scheduled backup with VPN

We currently use VPN and scheduled backups but since updating to the latest release of software we are having a few problems. It seems from the logs that SuperFlex is trying to create the network connection before the VPN has connected. We run a .bat file in the before and after script to VPN in and terminate the vpn. Here is the part of the log file.

Error 53 connecting network drive \\yds\share The network path was not found.
Executed successfully: D:\scripts\connect\yds.bat

The backup fails with can't access left path (the remote side) but I guess this is due to the VPN script connecting after the network connection has tried to complete.

Is there a way to force the software to wait until the before script has completed before trying to make the network connection or do you have any advise on a better/alternative way of doing this? We are on version 5.55

We had version 4, not sure of the exact release... I've also noticed that in the logs it states that it is running as our administrator account but that doesn't have permission on the share we are trying to copy from.. is there a way to change this? I have tried using the run as option in the specific profile but the logs are the same.

Hello,

apparently the order in which these things are done changed since your older version. Right now the only solution is to not use "Make Network Connection" in the profile. Instead, you can add the following command to your script:

NET USE \\yds\share password /USER:Username

Yes it needs to be made optional in which order these things are done.
