In windows when I start a profile (always attended) due to the time it takes to build a file list, I put SF in the background and continue to do my other work on the computer.
When SF completes the file list and displays what files need to be synchronized, the program has no way of alerting me that it is now waiting for my input. Normally all windows (and Mac, Linux) programs inform you of this state. I waste precious minutes having to physically monitor the status of the file list building. If I get too engrossed in my other work then I will start the actual sync only after I realize that SF has been waiting for my input for some minutes now.
I really wish that SF would inform me by its icon turning orange in the task bar and flashing a few times like all other windows programs do.
(P.S. This request has been sent via email before; I just came to know about this forum)
