Running a Profile that's already running...

Postby TwilitGeek on Wed Nov 30, 2011 6:09 pm

Hello!

I've got a profile that runs automatically every 10 minutes. But I want to also be able to run it manually. I have a .bat file setup that does this, but I need to make sure that if I run it manually and it's already running, that it will either wait until the first run is done, or just detect that it's already running and not run a second time.

Does Super Flexible already do something like this? Or is there a setting I need to enable(If there's any way at all)?

Hello,

in many cases, the program will detect if a job is already running and prevent it. But there may be loopholes. The best would be to just try it out. It won't do any harm.

What I can definitely say is that all jobs that use a database can only run in one instance at the same time. A database is used for SmartTracking, the destination file list cache, Partial File Updating, and delayed deletions in Exact Mirror mode.
