How to reset SmartTracking & other things

Postby MerleOne on Fri Feb 26, 2010 11:24 am

Hi,
Is there an easy/best way to reset the database for a job that uses smarttracking. There are a few situation where I would need it.

Also, while on the "resetting topic", I have a few jobs that have a removable HDD as destination. Sometimes, by mistake, I launch them and I get en error message if the removable HDD is not accessible. Is there a way to reset the "error" flag that is displayed next to the job name after that ?

Lastly, when the destination is a removable HDD, is there a way to have the HDD recognized not by it's letter (which may change) but by some other parameters, like it is done for networked location.

Thanks !

Hi,

you can delete the database file in Windows Explorer. Its name is shown in the log file. The database folder is also shown on the Program Settings dialog.

You can reset the results by renaming the profile or editing the INI file directly.

To access removable drives, please type the volume label instead of the drive letter. For example:

MyUSBDrive:\Foldername
