hour variable

i want to backup a folder every hour keeping each version on a rotating 24 hour cycle. i.e. always have 24 past hours to fall back to for changes in that folder. Now i would like to set one profile and put the hour variable into the path, otherwise i need 24 versions just for that one profile. I looked at the list of variables but though you cover time and date i dont see one for hour. Is that correct? is there now ay to set this up?

i also thought i could do this by versioning the folder, running the profile every hour and keeping the last 24 versions but that only works on files as far as i can see.

the problem with using the time variable is that it uses seconds and even if you set it to start at an exact time and then every hour it appends the seconds as the time the folder was created so you dont get 24 folders for each hour it runs you get unlimited because of the variance of the seconds.

the work around that actually gives me some nice options is to setup an empty folder and sync it with the directory containing the individual hourly created folders. The empty sync job will always then delete all contained folders in the hours directory. By setting the file filter to only process folders more than 24 hours old, it ensures i only have 24 folders maximum at any one time. Its nice then that i can control just how long to keep folders before deleting all.
