How to Exclude files beginning with...

I know that this is going to be a face/palm moment and that I should already know this, but:

How to Exclude files beginning or containing a particular letter or string of letters/characters
eg. "~" which indicates an InDesign or Word temp file

Hello,

in the profile, under Masks -> Exclusions, you can type for example:

~*

The asterisk is the wildcard that stands for anything following the ~
