Always get errers with lage (and oftern small)files

Hi I am still trying to get Super Flexible File Synchronizer to workm now with WebDAV. We are trying to use two HP ProLiant MicroServer’s with WHS2011 installed via the internet to cross backup our data. So far The problem with Superflexable is the receving server cuts the upload offs mainly with large (but not exclusively)files. For example “FTP Exception (5): ETGSocketError Socket error 10054: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. @ 00D3C31F Exception Operation Canceled at 00E198E5”. This was when trying to upload a 214Mb ppx and was about 1/3 through but I have had it with small files as well.
Any ideas please?

You could try to choose "Library: 2 (SBB SSL)" on the Internet dialog in the profile, and then on the second tab sheet choose "Use Expect: 100-continue". After choosing that, you need to go back to the first tab sheet and find our which of the Authentication methods works with the server.

If library 2 does not work, please go back to library 1 and choose Authentication: Basic and install the "URL Authentication" feature on the server. This is done in the IIS setup somewhere.

Every change gets the warning unable to find folder do I want it to creat it. I will have to get the other end to install the server add on!

Yes, the URL Authentication would be great. It is the same as "Basic Authentication" in the software. If you can get that installed, please choose library 1 and Basic Authentication on the Internet dialog.

Unfortunately, the implementation of the other authentication methods seems to need some more work in the synchronizer. With some servers they work fine, but not with all servers.
