Socket Error

I've started getting the above error when backing up to Amazon S3. Usually the file size is above 500k when it happens, smaller files are ok. Happens on W7 and XP.

Copied the files that get the socket error to Amazon S3 with S3 plugin for Firefox without any problems.

Hello,

please go to the Internet dialog where you specify the Amazon S3 credentials, and on the Security tab sheet, make sure you have chosen:
Security Mode: SSL

This usually fixes any socket errors.

You may also want to update the software (see our download page).
