Registry backup

Postby touch107fm on Sun Apr 29, 2012 8:23 pm

Hello from Sydney, I have a question regarding the backup of system registry through superflexible file synchronizer. Is it possible for superflex to a make a copy of a registry setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\......................

I am taking the answer as no but if its possible it will help me out.

Cheers,
D

Hello,

it can be done with regedit. The command is

Code: Select all
regedit /E C:\Tests\regbak.reg "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node"

You can invoke this as an "Execute before" command in your Superflexible profile and then use Superflexible to copy the regbak.reg file somewhere else and do versioning etc.
