Remote Service Folders

Postby jameslsnyder on Tue Jul 03, 2012 10:35 am

Ok, First I love the software so far. Documentation and real life example lacking.

Here is my problem. I have everything working using SFTP to a remote server. I want to use the remote service to build the right side list. I just don't get how to set it up.

If I don't change anything where does it send the listing files so I know what folders to monitor on remote side.
How is the Paths for communication with remote services setup on the local side (left)

Communication Path For Left-Hand Side
Local Path on Server That Needs To Be Listed
Communication Path For Right-Hand Side
Local Path on Server That Needs To Be Listed

Some real life examples would be appreciated.

When the client connects with the sftp connection it drops a file into the directory. The remote service looks for this file and that file contains the request. Then the remote service deletes this file and puts a new file out there with the listing. The sftp client then pulls this down and then does its comparision on the local side.
