remove empty folders - bizarre behavior

Postby spagnola on Sun Nov 11, 2012 8:54 am

question
i am backing up the C: drive to a removable usb drive

it gets to point of "remove empty folders", and it takes forever

so, I went and did this in ATTENDED mode. I see that on the right, there are about couple thousand folders that say "DELETE".
SO, i go investigate on the c: drive, and find that they are NOT empty !!!!
there is a subfolder that has a file in it, in each case;
example, here is the path to one
C:\Users\All Users\{559F25A3-87D2-4D88-ADC5-DF4C277CDD45}\Family Tree Maker 2012 - Files\129AC46C\D5A3A931\lffax14N.dll

the ...ffax14N.dll is the only FILE in that path; no file exists in the folder above it;

same for about 1000 listings in the famlily tree maker directory (something to do with synchronizing to the cloud, that is what those files do, I think)

In ANY case, the folder is NOT empty; why is syncovery stating it is EMPTY, and trying to delete on the right?

thanks
