External drive use with unique serial check

Hello,
how can I be sure that I will use the same extarnal drive even if the same drive letter is used ?
I did noticed that if I plug a new drive the program starts macking a fresh back up on it.

The serial cannot be checked, but the drive's volume label can.

If the drive is named MyDrive, you can type

MyDrive:\

instead of the drive letter, such as F:\
