How to compare files when remote version is encrypted zip

Postby rossmcm on Thu Mar 24, 2011 9:26 pm

Hi,

I've configured SFFS to use WinMerge to compare files. When I ask it to compare a local file with the version on S3 (in a mangled encrypted ZIP file) in the Sync Preview, it loads them both into WinMerge, but it doesn't unzip the remote file or give me the chance to supply a key so I get binary gibberish in the right-hand pane.

What am I missing here...?

Yes that is not implemented yet. You can't use that.

Is this fix on the roadmap yet? It's quite important to me to be able to encrypt the file contents (and preferebly the filenames too...) as the stuff we are storing is pretty sensitive.

Thanks,
Ross
