FTP server recursive listing limit

Postby mmm06700 on Sat Mar 30, 2013 4:34 pm

Hello,

On the remote side, the FTP server (pure-FTP, embedded in a DLINK DNS325) has a size limit for recursive list, but i do not know which one.

Locally, in the Syncovery internet settings of the profile, advanced tab, the FTP listing command is set to "automatic".
the profile is manually started, and status messages are displayed.
first message : Building file list
second message: Downloading recursive listing: xxx,x kB

then , several messages "listing /xxx/xxx/..." are displayed.

Does it means that Syncovery has detected the recursive listing was not sufficient, and has switched back to the basic list command ?

As there are a lot of directories, there are lot of of list commands, and it is slow.
Is there a setting somewhere to allow multiple connections to run (in parallel) multiple list commands ?

thanks.

Yes the program tries to get separate listings for folders which are missing.

But really the limit should be removed from the server.

Parallel listing is not possible.
