We are changing our installation from an older server (Win2003 SP2) to a newer server (Win2008 R2 SP1 - virtual). At the same time, we are upgrading to the new version of Syncovery.
We installed Syncovery on the old and new servers and imported the profiles (6 profiles) with the .ini file (all fields).
On the new server, the profile using SmartTracking never worked correctly.
Here is a summary of the situation:
L side : a directory on a server
R side: a directory on a FTP site
Copying is from R to L.
We want to bring only the newly created files from the R side to the L side.
On the L side, copied files are read by an application and then moved to an archive directory. This works well during most of the day. But at midnight EVERY day, the entire directory on the R side gets copied again to the L side.
This profile works fine on the old server - and has been running for a couple years.
On the new server, we cannot get it to work correctly. We have tried adjusting several settings but every day at midnight the entire R side directory (600+ files)gets re-copied to the L side.
The settings for "Files -> More -> Never replace any files" is selected.
We have tried deleting the database to recreate a new one. No change.
We need to make this profile work on the new server otherwise we will need to find another solution.
Any advice would be appreciated.
