FORUM ISSUE, problem with login

I log into backup creations. it works.
I then go to forums, and it requires me to log in again (OK, I do it, and it works)
BUT, I then go to post to forum, and it requires me to log in again if I reply to a question?

AND, I checked the SUBSCRIBE option for a thread, and did not get a notification of a reply??

the site other wise works good, and any comments appreciated

IGNORE the EMAIL REPLY part (it not sending me notification of a reply), I think I had the wrong email in confuration; I have edited it

Clearing cookies or using a different browser may help. I don't have any additional info.
