Synching on Windows Mobile devices

Postby randolphwilliams on Sun Feb 07, 2010 8:43 pm

I have looked and don't see a way with the current verion of SFFS to synch up files on a Windows Mobile device. Is that possible?

Probably not.

The program can only sync with devices that have a drive letter (like C:, D:, etc.) or that can be accessed via a network path (UNC path like \\servername\sharename\foldername).

In addition, some devices can be accessed via FTP, SSH, or WebDAV. For example, you can sync with an iPhone by installing the iControl App on the iPhone and enabling WebDAV access. Then you can sync over WLAN rather than USB.

I was able to use Mocha FTP server on my mobile device and synch using SFFS.

Hello,

our new version 7 (beta 17) can now access Android phones, iPhones, cameras, and other MTP devices.

You can choose it with the new Device... button below the left and
right hand paths when editing a profile in Advanced Mode.

You can download it here:
