Ftp with EclSocketError

Hi,
I have a problem with an ftp-synchronization:
I have a local folder (with sub-folders) synchronized to an ftp-Server-folder. Sometimes some of the files in a subfolder are not synchronized, when they have a blank in their names and there is a "EclSocketError Socket error 10053" shown in the log-file.
This error only occurs very rarely, but reprocucable within a certain folder or with a certain file. But there are other files with blanks in their names, which are copied without a problem.
Any advice would be helpful.

I use Super Flexible File Synchronizer v5.73, build 310 on a win7-pc.

The problem is probably in the FTP server.

The help from the support was very disappointing, so we tried a little more to find a work-around. And we did:
We changed the ftp-protocol settings to use library 3 without passiv mode.
With this configuration everything seems to work at the moment.

Thanks for the info! If passive mode does not work, it means that the router settings on the server side are not correct, or there is another Firewall or routing issue. Passive mode uses additional port numbers, which are randomly chosen from a range of allowed passive mode ports. The range is specified in the FTP server software. If the FTP server is not connected to the Internet directly, the whole passive mode port range must be forwarded to it by the router that connects the server to the Internet.
