Sync order control & Check Free Space Option

Postby Superbrka on Wed Jan 14, 2015 9:54 am

Hello,

Two small questions:

- Is it possible to defined in a profile, which file has to be synced at the end (without using "After"-Option and/or another profile) ?
- And, if I select the "Check Free Space Before Copying" option and there is no enough HD space, profile will still run in unattended mode. Is this how it's supposed to be ?

Thank You

Hello,
the sync order is always alphanumeric, so the only option is to name your file accordingly (such as ZZZLastFile.txt).

The option concerning "Check Free Space" won't stop the whole job in Unattended Mode, only those specific files which don't fit. They will be skipped rather than trying to copy them and failing.

Hello,

In my case, on the end I have to sync start.exe file, and to "activate" the synchronization that way. To rename it in something like z_start.exe won't help (and not possible). Now I have a second profile with only one file (start.exe) and it runs after. Stupid thing is, I have about 100 profiles and now 100 more only for that one file.

"Check Free Space" issue is a following problem from above (with the start.exe file). I need to sync all the files or nothing - and to leave old folders and files on target Computer as it was (if there is not enough HD space).

Any Idea how can I manage this ?

Thank you for your time and efforts

Bye
