Speeding up list creation

We have some extremely bushy directory trees -- tens of thousands of folders and millions of files. We've turned off the database and followed the other hints in this thread

However it still takes 2.5 hours for the right side listing to be generated. Once generated it downloads in less than a minute.

Right side is using the Syncovery Remote Service.
Protocol is SSH.
Cache Destiniation File List is turned off.
Left side threads is set to 20.
Split Jobs is turned off.

Any suggestions?

Do you have the latest version 7.10 of the Remote Service? Can you increase the number of threads on the Syncovery Remote Service Control Panel, tab sheet "Checksummer and remote lister"?

Also you need to increase the number of threads in Syncovery, on the Program Settings dialog, tab sheet Performance.

Some people go as far up as 100 threads, though of course it will cause heavy usage of the machine.
