File Lock

Postby jrhall81 on Thu Jun 04, 2015 8:54 am

Hello all,

We just started using Syncovery 7.10b at my employer. Just wondering if there is a way for a profile to ignore locked files. I am currently backing up a remote share and I don't necessarily care about the locked file that is not being moved from that share. I have unchecked Wait for File Access and Wait and Retry in Access & Retries > Waiting and Retrying, which sped up the sync. But when it finishes it gives a last result of Incomplete. I just want to make sure I catch any files that don't sync that should. If it is not possible than that is fine, but if it can be changed, that would be fantastic. Thanks

Unfortunately the result summary will always be incomplete if there are locked files that cannot be copied.

You can copy locked files if Syncovery is installed on the same machine where the data is stored.
