Slow Speeds (100 KB/s)

Postby Derek on Thu May 06, 2010 12:13 pm

Good Evening,

I was suggested your product by one of our employees, unfortunately we are getting very slow transfer rates (100 KB/s) but when we stop Super Flexible File Synchronzier and transfer using File Zila we are getting at least 10 MB/s transfering the same .zip and .rar files.

Any ideas ?

If you are using FTP, please make sure you have the latest version 4.93a and try the three FTP libraries available to get the best speed. You can choose these on the Internet/FTP dialog. They are just different FTP programs licensed from different third-party companies.

You can also use more of your bandwidth by copying several files in parallel. The number can be specified on the Files tab sheet.

If you are on a LAN with the server, you should not use FTP and transfer files via regular Windows or Samba networking.

Fantastic, changed it to 2 and it increased speeds to about 300 (KB/s) then changed it to 3 and now we are getting (2 MB/s).

Cheers!
