[Solved] Grouping profiles

Postby Ranjit on Tue Nov 24, 2015 12:27 am

I have installed Syncovery yesterday and new here.
I have a feeling I need to learn a few hings before I start using Syncovery, but for now I have one question.
I have a live mirror copy on my portable hard disk, which updates almost 50 directories at set intervals. Therefore, I need to know what is the way I can create 50 jobs and Group them into one, for my backup.
Thank you in advance.

I have two more questions :
1. The display of Syncovery Forum is defective. See snapshot below :

2. Is it possible to use "Run by Unattended Mode" by default ?
Thank you in advance.

You can group your profiles and collapse and expand the groups in the Profile Overview. To group profiles, they have to start with the same word. The first word in the profile names will become the name of the
group. For example:

Backup Home
Backup Office
Backup Data

This will create the profile group named Backup.

We are looking into the forum issue.

You can run in Unattended Mode by right-clicking a job. Alternatively, you can go to the running options via the Gears toolbar button and choose "Run Checked Profiles Unattended". Then you need to place checkmarks with the profiles you want to run and use the double play / fast forward button to run them unattended.
