How syncovery uses databse file

Postby krumanish on Mon Aug 10, 2015 9:39 am

If we swap the source path and destination path and run the syncovery. will the profile use the same database and it will use block level copy or it will try to create a new database file (considering the new source and destination path). Will it take less time as it uses the block level copy?

Sorry for my long absence in the forum. I am back now and will monitor it on a daily basis.

It should be fine and still recognize the files, but I can't guarantee it 100%. Ideally you would make a run immediately after swapping sides, if the files are still identical on both sides, it will just generate the checksums rather than re-copy.
