Add friendly Cancel bttn? [let current file finish its sync]

Postby LGS on Thu Dec 10, 2015 6:01 am

Hi all

In several profiles I have a bunch of big files to be sync'ed (several Gb each)

It happens that I need to cancel the (sometimes very long)job and restart it later. (no emergency)

Could we imagine an additional friendly "cancel" button that would allow the current file to finish it's synchronization ?

I can of course do it "manually" and choose the good time to click 'cancel' but it requires to keep an eye on the sync window..

Thanks for advice

best regards

Hello,
many thanks, that's a good idea.

In the meantime, you can use the checkmark "Automatically resume" on the Files tab sheet (when editing a profile in Advanced Mode). That way, you can cancel anytime, even in the middle of the file, and it will be resumed on the next run. While the copy is incomplete, it has an additional encoding and filename extension so it cannot be mistaken for a complete file.
