Notification When Behind Microsoft Exchange Server

Postby frank479 on Sat Nov 28, 2015 12:00 am

Are there any notification options (email, sms, etc.) for installations behind an exchange server? Any workarounds, perhaps?

Hello,
email notifications are available on the Program Settings dialog, tab sheet Notify.

Syncovery can also create Windows Events, which you can also choose on the Program Settings dialog.

But... I'm behind an Exchange Server. At my job I'm behind a firewall and the only email we have access to is their Exchange server. SFFS only offers SMTP. Is there a way to configure sending mail through an exchange server? And the notifications option only works for certain conditions, specifically, when you detect a renaming conflict.

Exchange servers can offer SMTP too. Maybe you can ask if it is available to you.
