Issue moving .$1$. files

Postby Luc23 on Mon May 09, 2016 12:03 pm

I have a Syncovery job that moves from S3 to a Windows file server. Occasionally I get duplicate files and I have told Synconvery to append .$1$. to duplicated when it encounters this issue. That all works fine.

But I then have a second job that pulls from that Windows file share back to S3. This job will not move any file that has .$1$. in it. In fact, it doesn't even see the files according to the logs.

I have turned off the Global Exclusion List already from the profile. Do you have any other ideas?

Did you see the checkmark "Include backup files (*.$?$.*)" on the Inclusion Masks tab sheet?

In addition to that, you may have to go to Versioning->More and choose "Do Net Decode Filenames" for both left and right sides.
